These are organized as monthly mini-lessons.

Accompanying classroom activities, along with colouring activities from Indigenous Artist Michelle Stoney, are available at the bottom of this page and are only accessible to teachers with a KBI teacher account. This is free and just takes a minute to signup. Click here.

The Grandfather Teachings, along with the activities, can be used in any classroom from grades 1-9 as it can be easily adapted. The goal of this document is for teachers to create a learning community with their students, enjoy these teachings, and incorporate them into class discussions or learning activities.

Resource developed by Claire Rodger, Eagle Circle (off campus program associated with Hugh John Secondary School, Winnipeg, Manitoba).

Additional resource content for the topic of Grandfather Teachings is available from the Royal Saskatchewan Museum.
