Applying technical teaching skills when using KBI for science 8-9

The following is an excerpt from a KBI teacher training webinar held on April 21, 2021. 

This 6-minute video presentation is by a science teacher, Gigi Fallorin (grade 8-9) who uses KBI in combination with a number of other online formats such as Kahoot, Google Forms and Bright Spaces. Being technically savvy, Gigi describes the enriched learning environment she has developed for her students. An interesting assessment scheme is used and students are encouraged to complete all of the KBI lessons available. Gigi promotes the program as a KBI challenge and students feel a sense of accomplishment when they are able to reach top of the leaderboard provincially and nationally.
