How To Handle Your Vaccine Like a Star (P6-P7) - Part 3
The CARD system puts power in your hands to handle your shots like a star.
Ask yourself:
- How will I be comfortable?
- What will I ask the vaccinator?
- What will I do to relax and stay calm?
- What distractions will I use?
Remember, you choose which cards you want to use on vaccination day. There are no wrong moves. If you need help deciding which cards to use, talk to your parent or carer.
The vaccinator wants to help you have a positive experience, too. So tell the vaccinator if you are feeling worried or anxious. And bring something along to keep your mind on something else!
